For hosts
The challenge recap and the audio supercut
When a challenge closes, Collab builds a recap page: the winner, the final leaderboard, the numbers and a link back to you. A challenge also closes on its own when the deadline passes.
- 1
Close the challenge from its host screen, or let the deadline pass.
- 2
On the closed challenge, the Recap card lets you open the page, copy the link or rebuild it.
- 3
The recap embeds approved entries whose entrant gave repost permission and whose link still plays. A winner who did not give permission is named but not embedded.
- 4
Cover contests can also get a supercut: the approved audio covers cut together on the beat, a few bars each, as a vertical video. It needs at least 3 approved audio entries with repost permission and the Song BPM set on the contest.
- 5
Link your MCPity account in NewFans settings. The supercut renders on your MCPity credits. Collab does not pay for it.
- 6
Press "Make the supercut" on the Recap card. It can also start on its own when the challenge closes. If something is missing, the card says what.
Good to know
- The supercut assumes every cover starts on the first beat of the song. Watch it before you post it.
- When the supercut is ready it plays on the recap page, and each performer in it gets a notification.
