1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NewFans Collab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NewFans Collab provides tools for artists and producers to collaborate through challenges and capture fan data through Profiles.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant NewFans Collab a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains illegal material
• Is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates any applicable laws

6. AI-Generated Music

You may enter a challenge with audio made any way you like, including with a generative AI model. Challenges are not sales, and hosts are free to run them however they want.

What you cannot do is have that audio sold. NewFans Pro, where hosts turn winning entries into releases fans pay for, does not accept AI-generated music for sale. So when you upload an audio entry we ask you one question — how the audio was made — and you must answer it:

• You wrote and performed it. Eligible for a paid release.
• You made it using AI production tools — mastering, stem separation, noise reduction, pitch or time correction. Also eligible. These are ordinary studio tools and using them is not what this rule is about.
• An AI model generated it — the composition, instrumentation, performance or vocals, including synthetic or cloned vocals standing in for a sung performance. Your entry still counts in the challenge, but it cannot be included in a release that is sold, and the host will see that before they choose.

Your answer is recorded with a timestamp against your entry. Answering falsely is a breach of these Terms and can result in the entry being removed and your account restricted. We do not use AI-audio detectors to second-guess you — detection is unreliable and a wrong call would cost a real artist their work. This runs on your declaration and on reports reviewed by a person.

This applies to music and audio. Video and dance entries are not covered by it.

7. Challenge Participation

When participating in challenges, you agree to the specific rules set by the challenge host. You grant the host permission to use your entry as specified in the challenge consent forms.

8. Subscription Plans

Paid subscription plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, but refunds are not provided for partial months. Plan features and pricing are subject to change with notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

NewFans Collab is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
